         Nalagarh Fort is situated in the foothills of Shivalik Hills. Nalagarh Fort is one of the most famous Heritage hotels in Himachal Pradesh and India. Found in the foothills of Himalayas, it was built in 1421. This is a very large area spread over 20 acres. Which includes the Place and its surroundings. Nalagarh Fort was built in 1421 by King Vikaram Chand Ji.

     This Place has modern facilities and the surroundings are green. There is a view of the Shivalik Hills. You can easily spend a week here. The nearby jungle is very beautiful which during rainy season sets the moon on fire with its beauty. Inside the place there are gardens of flowers and beautiful lawns which are decorated.

To reach Nalagarh Fort you can come from Chandigarh. This place is about 42 km away from Chandigarh. To reach Nalagarh Fort you can come from Chandigarh. This place is approximately 42 km away from Chandigarh. From Chandigarh you have to come to Nalagarh. 

 If you are coming from Shimla, you can come via  Baddi. Nalagarh is about 91 km from Shimla. 

If you are coming from Ludhiana then you  need to go to Ropar, you can come via Ghanauli. Nalagarh is about 22 km from Ropar. Along with this you can also visit Ramshehar Fort.

The nearest railway station to reach Nalagarh Fort is Ropar which is in Punjab. Nalagarh Fort is approximately 21 km from Ropar. You can go by road after the railway station. 

The other railway station is Kalka Railway Station which is approximately 39 km away from Nalagarh Fort. After Kalka Railway Station you can go by road.

Ramshehar Fort was built by King Ram Chand. Ramshehar Fort is believed to have been built in the 16th century. The Chand dynasty ruled here. Ramshehar Fort is situated at a height of approximately 1900 feet (500 metres) above sea level. 😊 The architecture here reflects the Rajput style with royal courtyards, watchtowers and traditional frescoes.
