Shangarh is a very beautiful place, my friend Madan Gopal Ji from Rainbow7 YouTube channel had gone for a visit here, I have also shared some of his pictures with you in this post.
Introduction
The name of the village is Sangarh. It has become famous because it is a very beautiful place. It is situated in the Sainj valley of Himachal Pradesh and it falls in the Kullu district. It has lush green fields and a temple of Devta. It is surrounded by Devdaar forests and mountains. It is a very beautiful village. It has a peaceful environment and beautiful roads which add to the beauty of this place.

There is also a temple of Shangchul Mahadev in Shangarh Village, this is a temple made of stone and wood which is very beautiful.
Place
Shangarh is situated in the Sainj valley which is in the district Kullu in Himachal Pradesh. To go here you have to go to Mandi from Chandigarh and from Mandi there is a road that goes to Kullu and another one goes towards Shangarh which is situated in the valley and you can go here easily. You can go by road, it gets dark very quickly in the mountains and there can be a lot of problems. So you should get there before it gets dark.
Natural beauty
Shangarh village is a very beautiful village and there are fields all around and on the other side there is a maidan of every house and there is also a temple there.

It is known for its natural sound. Don't let garbage spread all over here. I have shared some pictures of the sea with you which my friend gave me or one is on YouTube which I have roamed everywhere in Shangarh and you are already seeing the natural sound in the photo and I have also uploaded the video on YouTube, you can see the video as well.
Peaceful environment
If you go to Himachal, Shimla, Manali, Kullu or Kasol, you will not find the environment as peaceful as the one you will find in Shangarh. The crowds are very less here and even if the crowds are too much, there are open spaces for roaming around.

You can roam around comfortably in a very peaceful environment and the people here are also very nice, you can enjoy here. Do not throw garbage and roam around comfortably. Take your garbage with you and throw it in the garbage bin.
Do not make noise here, some people drink alcohol and throw the bottles here, due to which dirt gets accumulated here, so do not do such things, this is the place of God and God also resides here, you are a guest of God, so being a guest you should not throw garbage here, and do not make noise also.

Surrounded by mountains and forests
Shangarh village is surrounded on all sides by mountains, deodar trees and lakes. Here, clean water is found in every stream which flows like a waterfall.

The calm and clean environment here is very attractive. If you want to go here, then stay here for at least a week. You will get a different experience.
The nearby mountains and jungles are very lovely. You can also go there by trekking.
For trekking, you will have to take a local person along with you who will guide you well and will also bring you back. You can also camp here.

Grass grounds
There are very large grass grounds here where people come for sightseeing. Camping is prohibited near the temple.

If you go to high mountains by tracking, you will find grass grounds there as well. For this, you will have to take a week's time to come because tracking takes time. These grass grounds attract tourists a lot.

Here there is a field of grass and on the other side there is a jungle surrounded by deodar. The high mountains look very beautiful. You will remember the natural sound of this place all your life and it will give you a new energy.
Along with the field, you will also find jungles full of deodar and small waterfalls here when you go on tracking.
Historical Temple
Nearby of Shangarh village, there is a grassy meadow, along with it there is a historical ancient temple which is a religious place and it shows its religious and cultural significance. Apart from being ancient, this temple also shows the ancient culture of this place. Here you can also worship and get blessings.

Enter the temple only after discussing with the local people.
There is a special information board for going to the temple, follow it before going to the temple.
Do not make noise around the temple as this is a divine place and do not spread garbage here.
When you come here, along with the guest of the local people, you are also the guest of the God. Keep the environment around peaceful and move around peacefully and experience a different world.
Places worth visiting near Shangarh
Places to visit in Shangarh include Shangarh meadow, historical temple and BarshaGarh, waterfall.
You can also go here for trekking. You can go by trekking to the hill above Shangarh village but you will have to go with a local person.
Here you will find many waterfalls in the rivers which you can see only during trekking and by going to the upper mountains you will see the beauty, the mountains below will be visible nearby and in the mountains you will get Deodar trees and clean environment and a different experience of trekking.
Great Himalayan National Park ( GHNP)
Shangarh Sainj Valley falls under the Great Himalayan National Park. It is a wildlife sanctuary and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Great Himalayan National Park is considered one of the most protected areas. Shangarh is known for its serene grasslands and deodar forests and it is a must have wildlife sanctuary. This wildlife sanctuary is home to many animals and plants and there are many species here which are on the verge of extinction.
Himachal's state bird Jujurana is found in the Great Himalayan National Park Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a very beautiful bird which is of a very golden colour. It is also known by other names like the Magnificent Tragopan, referred to as "Jujurana" meaning "King of Birds", is the state bird of Himachal Pradesh.

There is heavy snowfall in Shangarh. You can see the scene in this video.
How to reach Sainj Valley
You can reach Sainj Valley in many ways like by bus, private vehicle or taxi. To reach here you can also use Airport which is in Bhunter (Kullu) and if you want to come by train then the nearest railway station is Joginder Nagar.
By Bus
If you are coming from Delhi or Chandigarh then take the bus to Manali and get down in Aut and after getting down in Aut you will get a bus for Sainj Valley but these are mostly available during the day, so come on time. This is the cheapest way to reach Sainj Valley.

By your own vehicle
If you have your own vehicle then you can directly go on Manali road but the place in between is called Auto. I have to send you towards the sender's place by hand and you will reach on time. Before reaching, book your hotel online because if you do not book online and stay at any place, you may face problem.

By Taxi
You can also reach Sainj Valley by taking a taxi but it will be a little expensive option here. If you are coming by taxi, the taxi driver will drop you at the sender's place because he knows the way. Even then, I would advise you to book your hotel in advance and reach on time.
My Request
Shangarh is a very lovely place and it is a beautiful and peaceful place, please maintain peace here, whoever loves nature can come here and this place is wonderful for those who want beauty and peace.
Gods and goddesses reside here, therefore I request you not to make noise here and do not spread garbage here as it also harms the environment. Use plastic as little as possible and try to keep it as clean as possible.
If you see anyone spreading garbage here then immediately stop them from doing so. This is a beautiful place and if it gets spoiled then the fun of roaming around here will be ruined. So please contribute in keeping this place as beautiful as it is.
