The Dharamshala Cricket Ground

The Dharamshala Cricket Ground, also known as the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, is a picturesque cricket stadium located in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, India. It is one of the highest international cricket stadiums in the world, situated at an altitude of approximately 1,457 meters (4,780 feet) above sea level.

 

The stadium has a capacity of around 23,000 spectators and is known for its stunning backdrop of the Dhauladhar mountain range. It has gained popularity not only for hosting domestic cricket matches but also for international matches, particularly in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

 

The first international match played at this venue was a T20 International between India and England in January 2013. Since then, it has hosted several international matches, including both T20Is and ODIs.
